Donald Trump's Second Wife

Donald Trump's second wife was Marla Maples, who was born October 27, 1963, in Dalton, Georgia. She is the daughter of Ann and Stan Maples.

Marla is an actress, model, television personality, and one of the beautiful people. She is a real Georgia Peach, with her soft spoken Southern charm.

She became well known because of her marriage to the business icon Donald Trump, as his second wife. They were married on December 20, 1993 at the Trump Plaza Hotel.

Around 1,300 guest witnessed the business tycoon slip a wedding band and $250,000 engagement ring onto her finger. Carolina Herrera designed Marla's dress----the dress was beautiful as an off-the-shoulder ivory grown with a long wide train.

The reception was held at the Tampa Plaza Hotel, Marla looked so happy---now she was officially the second wife of Donald Trump. Tiffany was born in 1992, but Marla and Donald waited until after the baby was born before they would proceed with their wedding.

I am sure being the second wife had a lot of adjustments for Marla, how could it not. She was a new mother, as well as a step-mother. Every time I saw her on television, she always spoken highly of Donald Trump, and how busy he was, making it was necessary for him to travel a lot for the business. However, it left Marla and the new baby alone in New York City.

Later, when everything went sideways, and Donald asked for a divorce, Marla, felt with him away so much---played a big part in their unhappiness in their marriage; because he worked all the time. She seems to be such a beautiful person inside and out---as per my viewing her on television.

I never heard her say anything bad about anyone, and she still takes up for Donald, even after they divorced. Yes, Donald Trump's second wife was out the door now, as the judge granted them a divorce in 1999. Marla had delayed the divorce going forward, because she was trying to get more than the two million which was in the prenuptial agreement.

Marla fought a good fight, but gave in and accepted the 2 million. I feel she thought this inconceivable because of several reasons, one she gave him a daughter, stood by him during his financial woes, because of that she deserved more, and I agree with her, she did. I say shame on you Donald Trump, she had a child for you, and she will probably be the sweetest wife of all. Donald Trump lost a treasure when he lost Marla Maples---I wonder if he ever has pangs of remorse about it. Follow Me on Pinterest

Donald Trump's First Wife

Donald Trump's first wife Ivana Zelnickova, born 02/20/1946 to Milos and Maria Nee' Francova, in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia. Ivana, married Austrian skier, Alfred Winklmayr, in order to obtain a foreign passport so the Communist leaders would not deem her a defector.

Ivana met Donald J. Trump, in New York. Then on April 7, 1977, Ivana Zelnickova married Donald in an extravagant society wedding. The Trumps became prominent characters in New York's 'Elite and business throughout the 1980's. Donald and Ivana worked together on several gigantic projects.

Donald asked her to mastermind the refurbishment of the landmark Plaza Hotel, and she took over as its president. Ivana was named Hotelier of the year in 1990. Her work at the Plaza would be the pinnacle of her work within the Trump Organization. Ivana and Donald had three children together:
  • Donald John Jr. (born December 31, 1977) he is now, 33 years old
  • Ivanka Marie (born October 30, 1981) she is now, 29 years old
  • Eric (born January 6, 1984) is now 27 years old
  • Two Grandchildren from Donald John Jr. and Vanessa Haydon
  • Kai Madison(born May 12, 2007)
  • Donald John Trump III(born February 18, 2009)
Donald and Ivana worked all the time--and work included travel---so issues in their marriage began, as they were away from each other a lot, and this is my own opinion about it. So, Ivana filed for a divorce in 1991, thereas, disagreements arose in regards to the amount of money Ivana wanted in the divorce settlement. It is rumored that she received $20 million, $350,000 annual alimony, among other valuable properties.

Not long after her divorce from Donald she married Riccardo Mazzucchelli, her third husband.

Donald John Trump Sr.'s Family

Donald John Trump was born into affluence as the son of Frederick Christ Trump and Mary Ann MacLeod, as their fourth child. Frederick Christ Trump was born on October 11, 1905 in Woodhaven, Queens, New York. It was snowing and raining the day he was born, but a little bad weather did not keep him from arriving into his parent's world.

Little Frederick's parents were German immigrants, Friederich Drumph (March 1869-March 1918) and Elizabeth Christ (October 1880-June 1966) who came to America from Germany. Friederich became a naturalized citizen in 1892, and Americanized his surname to Trump.

He began his career during the Klondike Gold Rush, managing the Arctic Restaurant and Hotel in British Columbia. His restaurant and hotel was a great success, however, he sold them, and return to Germany for the woman he married, Elizabeth Christ.

They returned to American to begin their life together. When Frederick Christ Trump was 13 years old, his father became a fatality to the Spanish Flu epidemic and died in 1918. His father's death left 13 year old Frederick Christ to provide for his family.

Frederick started his career building garages, at the young age of 15 years old. He advanced his career as a real estate developer. He literally built his fortune by building and operating inexpensive rental housing in New York City, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. He extended his career into buying and selling high-rises.

At 21 years old, Frederick Trump met Mary Ann MacLeod, who came from Scotland for a visit to New York City, and married her that same year in 1936.

Frederick Trump accumulated a massive fortune, which most was inherited by his children. In his later years, Mr. Trump had Alzheimer's disease for six years, before his death in June 1999 of pneumonia. He and his wife Mary Ann were married 64 years at the time of his death.

Mr. Trump was a great father to his children--- he would take Donald to work with him--- at a very early age, and this made a big influence on little Donald, because years later he went to work for his father. And this is when his career began, with lessons of experience from a man who loved his son, and taught him well. I am sure he was very proud of Donald, and all his children.

Mary Ann MacLeod Trump was born in the village of Tong, in the parish of Stornoway on May 10, 1912. It was probably a cool day, as the temperature is about the same winter and summer. It is also, very cloudy in the village of Tong, with frequent high winds. Her father was Malcolm Macleod, and he was a fisherman, and her mother was Mary Smith. Her parents married in 1891, and it is know that both of her parents spoke Gaelic.

One could assume that Mary Ann MacLeod Trump spent her life as a happy wife and mother, with her darling children, without financial worry, as her husband was an excellent provider.
